Dragon's Lair Arcade Authentic V3.1

There are two versions that you may download depending on your Windows version. If you are using Windows 95/98/Me/2000 please download this version . If you are using Windows XP, please download this version . Click on "run program" rather than "save file" and it will install itself automatically.

Make sure you have done either the minimal or full install of Dragon's Lair before installing the new version and it will overwrite the C:\DL\DLair.exe that currently exists on your hard drive. You will be able to use the new program by simply inserting the CD to autorun the game (which will check and use the new version rather than the one on the CD).

The Windows XP version now allows full screen but there is a small flash between movies (full screen only) which we hope to address in a future update.

We would like to thank Kaa Starhunter (his internet name???) for pointing out a number of authenticity adjustments issues that we have addressed in this update. They include:

More Scenes now have penalties for making moves too early while in Hard mode.

Checkered Floor Scene has had the correct moves implemented for Hard mode.

Correct Death Scenes are now playing for every move in the game, there were some inconsistencies before.

Corrections have been made to the scoring schema, which was off in a few scenes.

The ability to load up in full screen mode via command prompt (for arcade cabinet setups)

The ability to turn off continue

Hopefully a revised full screen version for XP.
