I only get black & white on my television

Dragon's Lair DVD-Video is encoded as NTSC video. If an NTSC signal is played back on a PAL television, it will appear in black & white. Normally PAL DVD-Video players should convert the NTSC on the DVD-Video disc to PAL so that it appears in color. In some cases (with certain PAL DVD-Video players), they will only output NTSC however many PAL television sets are capable of receiving "PAL 60" which will accept the NTSC signal and display it correctly. If you are getting black & white, try setting your television to this mode and you should be able to play the game in color.

If you have a PAL PlayStation 2, we've heard that the cabling you use to connect your PS2 to your television set can affect whether you get black & white or color.   We're still trying to determine which combinations work and which don't -- if you can give us any information on this we would be most appreciative.  Of course, you will still need a PAL60 compatible television set of you definitely will not get color.

Macintosh Compatibility

Apple's OS 10.1 and above will run our DVD-Video games.  Earlier versions of the OS are not compatible.
